Vekha Sladkoe Pyatnyshko
(14.06.2014) n 24
Vekha is a spotted black tabby girl from Tomsk, a large city in Sibera. She is a fluffy ball of energy that runs around the whole day trying to find something or someone to play with. Her favourite toy is a long strip of fake fur (the ones around some hoods of winter jackets). She loves to catch the intruder, bite its imaginary neck and walk through the room having the body of the pray hanging between her legs. She probably learnt this behaviour from the lions she watched in documentaries! She is also a wonderful "aunt" for Elina's kittens. When the mother left the kittens to eat, or to have five minutes for herself, Vekha would sit next to the kittens, check that they would not get into troubles and comfort them if they started crying for their mother. We are very proud of our Vekha!
In accordance to the typical Siberian behaviour, Vekha is not afraid of water. She likes to drink water directly from the tap and then sleep in the sink. Although there are many comfortable cat beds around the house, Vekha's favourite spot to sleep is in the human bed, below the blankets, especially if the human is around. Just like a fluffy and warm teddy bear.
Vekha's eyes are the first thing to catch the attention of every visitor and judge. She has wonderfully big and expressive eyes, that confer he an "innocent" look. She particularly enjoys being at cat shows, especially if we leave the cage door open (only when we are around, of course 😺). Then she sits at the edge of the cage and looks at the visitors coming by with those curious, innocent big eyes, that make most of the people stop and pet her. Vekha really enjoys human attention!
Vekha has an outstanding pedigree and ancestors from the very famous Siberian catteries of Onix Gloria, Angelur and Sladkoe Pyatnyshko. We thank the cattery Sladkoe Pyatnyshko for this beauty!
Vekha is the proud mother of Litter B, born in November 2016.
